Thanks for the input. I actually work for a dentist and he looked at it and some symptoms about infection- he placed me on the clyndimycin. I just dont want to end up with staff infection. I have been placing neosporin and a bandaid for about 4 days now and nothing has changed it is still red and swollen bad. It rubs on my shirt and this only irritates it worse.

google hidradenitis superativa. It is a skin condition that often starts out with a cyst under the arm, and can spread to the breasts and groin. The doctors will perscribe antibiotics and surgery, niether of which will cure it-in fact the anitbiotics make it worse. I completely healed from mine after discovering I was allergic to wheat, eggs, soy and commercial dairy products. Anything that will dry it out will help, Neosporin is your best bet...what happens is you actually irritate it by trying to clean it out, this is normal...if it's not to awkward to do, use neosporin and a bandaid for at least 3 days..taking it off during showers and for at least an hour afterwords to dry up...any kind of oral antibiotic wont actually help.

I used a heating pad on mine, just stick it under your armpit, leave it there about 10 minutes at a time. My doctor told me NOT to pick at it. Mine went away after doing this for about a week. Try not picking or popping it. Mine burst on its own and then went away. similar to a pimple.

How can you put yourself on antibiotics? Only docs can prescribe those. YOu need to go back to the doc and get this checked out and get his input on what to do for it. Do not keep taking antibiotics that are not prescribed for this particular problem.
