Here's to the Crazy Ones
Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits. The rebels.
The troublemakers. The round
pegs in the square holes - the
ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules and
they have no respect for
the status quo. You can praise
them, disagree with them,
quote them, disbelieve them,
glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing that you
can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.

-Apple Computer Ad, 1997

When we walk to the edge
of all the light we have
and take the step into the

or we will be taught to fly.

One of my favorites is: "If a man hasn't discovered something to die for, then he isn't fit to live."

Someone also told me that when you walk into someone's house, check your coat, hat, and EGO at the door!

But here's one i made up about four years ago. This is one i dedicated to my lady:

"If i like you, i'll do anything in the world for you. If i love you, i'll respect you twice as much in the morning!"

When you need encouragement, think of the qualities the people around you have: this one's energy, that one's modesty, another's generosity, and so on. Nothing is as encouraging as when virtues are visibly embodied in the people around us, when we're practically showered with them.
