I have downloaded two players so far and neither one works. Also, I did the upgrade of Macromedia Shockwave Flash and it reported back with a successful installation. Any recommendations / suggestions would be appreciated. Have a great day ya'll!

VLC player by http://www.videolan.org is better for flvs than the flv player. With the flv player, I was unable to resize the screen, and FF / RW didn't work in many cases. VLC works more like media player and supports many file types.
