Anesthesia can cause all sorts of problems...

Hair loss, memory loss, fatigue, improper circulation, respiratory problems... lots of things.

Try proving it though... You basically can't. A bad anesthesiologist can mess you up worse than a bad plastic surgeon... Just more subtly.

First of all Im just wondering y general anesthesia for a normal birth?Or maybe there are other indications aside from that? Anyway here are some of the effects of general anesthesia: Minor side effects from general anesthesia and surgery are common. These include nausea, sore throat, headache, muscle aches, or a generalized "hang-over" type feeling. Fortunately these are most often not serious and resolve on their own in hours or a few days after surgery. Rarely these side effects are severe enough to require specific treatment or possibly further hospitalization. Back to top

No, it has nothing to do with the anesthesia. Unless you had it last night---which I doubt. You are just getting older like the rest of us.

No, anaesthetic agents will not leave you in a state of chronic forgetfulness. If you are experiencing same, there is a different cause. Go back to your doctor and discuss the problem.
