www.theknot.com has amazing links so you can get ideas and find sites for do-it-yourself projects. I found all my wedding ideas from there.
I highly reccomend the chat boards, if they still have them. You can view other people's weddings and ideas on their profiles and ask/answer questions. Lots of fun, but beware of bridezilla trolls!

For some odd reason, I'm not able to access theknot.com from my pc, but I've been using ezweddingplanner.com and it's been great.

As far as vendors i have found that partypop.com has been helpful.....for ideas and help with planning theknot.com is great
