Sometimes you may do that, the sad thing is you never know when. To help prevent wetting the bed, stop your intake of fluids about 3 to 4 hours prior to bedtime. Some other reasons adults may wet the bed are, new onset diabetes, glandular cancers, bladder spasms, and various food allergies. Best of wishes!!

The sphincter muscle gets relaxed while asleep and hence the urine comes out. Worms trouble also can cause the problem. Diabetes can cause neuropathy and that too can cause this type of difficulty in either voiding or controlling the urine flow. Similar problems can occur with constipation and or diaarhea. Treating for worm trouble, B Complex, esp. B12 supplements and zinc etc. can help.

Homeopathy also has good solutions, if the neuropathy is not too advanced. If the problem is too advanced for cure, only adult diapers are practical solutions.

Weak bladder? Have you had this checked? If you've been doing this all along, and have had annual physical, it's probably nothing, but I'm sure, quite embarrassing. I do it sometimes when i take aspirin. Or when i drink too much liquid. You are probably a very sound sleeper. Hey, you haven't damaged anyone, so try to not worry.

Lots of different reasons. It could be their internal organs have shifted down inside and there's pressure on the bladder. It could be that their bladders have become weak, or they need to stop drinking fluids before bedtime. Your body goes through changes and sometimes we don't like the changes, but we deal with it. Sometimes it can be cured with certain kinds of therapy at a doctor's office with electrodes.
