I know an old woman who has her leg treated with acupunture daily because of pain. Is this advisable? She had difficulty when walking down the stairs and sometimes pain when she sits for quite a long time.

So is it ok to have her treated with acupunture daily or any suggestions? It seems that acupunture cures her pain nicely.

Acupuncture shouldn't hurt an any way, as long as it's performed by someone who knows what they are doing. It really shouldn't matter how old the person is for the acupuncture and if it is helping with her pain then it seems to be working as it's intended.

As long as she is being seen by a legitimate acupuncturist and is not a diabetic, they do this for restless leg syndrome and nueropathy because of the pain associated with these disorders.

Accupuncture everyday? Does not seem right. But, if it eases her pain then by all means do it, living with pain is just stupid.
