I asked somebody out, and she said yes. Basically, we have the same likes, and dislikes. Do you think she even likes me? I haven't gone out on dates for the longest time, what should I not do, or should not bring up?

She must like you, she didn't say no. And she probably respects that you had enough courage to ask her out in the first place. Good for you! If you have the same likes and dislikes, then you can feel free knowing that if you ask her on a date that you will enjoy, she will more than likely enjoy it also. Ask her out again if you like her. The thing is that you don't have to be the best looking(or you could be the best looking person around, idk but that's not the point) the thing is that confidence and respect are super sexy.

If she didn't want to go out with you she wouldn't have ever said yes. So far yes she does like you. That can change after your date though. Be yourself, don't try to make her like someone your not. Don't bring up you haven't been on a date in a long time, thats not important. The only thing thats important is that you like her and she likes you.

If she said yes I'm guessing she likes you (unless you threatened her with violence!) Sounds like you've got lots in common so that's a good start. I know it's a cliche but be yourself, get to know her better. Good manners are always a plus (making sure she's warm enough/opening doors etc) and I love it when guys buy little presents - sweets and stuff, it shows they're thinking about you. Don't be too clingy but make sure she knows you want to keep seeing her...

Try to learn more about each other. Find out more in depth about likes and dislikes. Talk about favorite kinds of music. If it is someone you may want to get serious with find out about her values...feelings of family...if not so serious just find out about fun uncommitted things to do where you will both enjoy oneanothers company!

she obviously thinks you have enough potential tobe a boyfriend, or she wouldnt have said yes.
just dont hit on her too hard during the date, she may have taken the offer up as only friends.
show her a good time to make her want to go out with you agian.
but dont get too close.

have a nice time!!
