Recently, there's been a debate on which format is better. Personally, I think the HD-DVD is better because it's like a DVD but better so it doesn't require much changes during manufacturing. I know Blu-Ray discs can store more data but sometimes, maybe size doesn't really matter?

What do you think?

This is VHS and Beta all over again. Personally I plan to wait (possibly a long time) and see. DVD is sufficient for now and produces good picture quality up to 50" (the size of my TV at home - btw, the Panasonic Plasmas really rock!). As has been seen many times before, the best format doesn't always win. Beta was technically superior to VHS ... I never bought a Beta nor did most people & VHS won. LS-120 drives were superior to Zip in many aspects and yet they fizzled. So did the 2.88MB floppy.

I plan to sit on the side lines until the winner is clear and then buy in only after the prices have come down.

Nine Inch Nails has proven blu ray is better, thus releasing a further clue on the blu ray BYIT.

The decision has been made!
