Looking for some really good "tried & tested" homemade liqueur recipes ? Please can you share the ones that really turned out well!

This Christmas we made some really good orange/cranberry vodka. Take cranberries and cook down with water and sugar. Add orange peel after they have cooked down--cranberries will "open"- go by the smell if you don't cook a lot- can really smell the essence- anyway add peel and cran mixture to vodka. and seal in a bottle and let sit for 1-2 weeks. Strain and it is great over ice or we made a martini-like drink with the vodka, dash of lime juice, cranberry juice and 7-up. Strain into martini glass. enjoy.

my brother got some smooth moonshine last year and put cherries in it...the cherries turned white and the shine turned red.

everybody that drank it turned "red" also
