I kind of liked them. why does nobody believe in the ancient egyptian, greek and roman gods, and once people stop believing in a god do they still exist?

Well of course mostly they were just replaced by newer religions, often through violence. Sort of like early Christrians dealt with the pagans when they came to power, once Christianity became the official religion of Rome you could either convert, leave or face the possibility of some serious violence. And of course they had all their wars with the Muslims as well but at least that one is a little two sided with both sides being pretty evil. The reality is that just as they say history is written by the victors, religion in ancient times was also often decided by the victors, the losers would convert and eventually whatever they worshipped was pushed into the realm of myth. It will eventually happen to the current dominant religions as well if mankind survives long enough.

Obviously since all gods are human imagination none of them exist. All the theists here would heartily agree all these gods don't exist, except they all would insist their preferred god does exist. They do this without ever having examined their own god or anyone else's critically, for the most part, and merely reflect their aculturation not their consideration.

Many of the Gods that have been expunged by the monotheist conquests actually were kinda cool and inspiring, as opposed to Yahweh who's just petulent, needy, bloody and generally reflects the worst characteristics of patriarchy and feudalism.

These gods never did exist. There are are many reasons that Greeks, Romans and others believed in many gods (polytheism).

Chief among the reasons, was that people of that time, were not scientific, so they believed gods were angry when things like famine, earthquakes and storms occured. So they tried to appease these gods to avoid thoses things.

Again, there are many more reasons.

Christianity coming to Greek and Rome, had a lot to do with the switch to Monotheism (one god).

Islam, which is monotheistic (believe in the same God Christians and Jews do) had a lot to do with egypt and others leaving polytheistic tradition.

science had a lot to do with this as well.

Polytheism is very rare today.

Well, apparently the egyptians and greeks and romans found out that their gods weren't following through. And just because someone believes in a God doesn't mean they exist. HOWEVER,
I know that my God exists and loves me and follows through for me. and He loves me SO much, that even before i was born he knew every bit about me and sent his only Son to save me from my sin and he is known as Jesus. I have never found hope or joy from any other God but mine.

No one believe in them anymore (maybe little still believe)

The reason is that more realistic and sensible religions r out thewre now..

BTW, I am sure that one day that every religion will vanish but Islam.. because it is the best religion ever.. also it is the fast growing one

You can believe in anything you want!
but.......................
if the belief if NOT valid and CANNOT be proven, then you're wasting your belief(s).
just like the people who believe in religion today, they are wasting their beliefs on deception and lies of the religion!
Believe in Our Creator and yourself!

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ

Create a private, personal, direct, divine relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truely Free!

Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!

I kind of liked some of them too. I think they're still around but now they're broke, homeless and on welfare because they don't get all those offerings & tribute anymore.

they never really existed to begin with its just a pagan god not the true and iving God its funny to thing about that all other gods seem to die but the one true God is been forever in the minds of man but how are the supposed to stay alive when the people who created them die so ancient gods stay around as long as the people who created them do and no man is eternal with out the saving and everlasting blood of Jesus Christ
