She WILL get used to the dog - but it will take time. I recently rescued a cat that was a stray - and she is afraid of our dog - who wants nothing more than to be her friend! I put all of her needs - food, litter box, toys - in one bedroom of our home and kept her in that room for a week. That way she had an area that felt like a safe zone. After the week of "isolation", LOL, I opened the door. For about another week, even with the door open, she never ventured out of the room - but would stand in the doorway and stare at the dog while we sat on the floor with him and pet him. The third week (this week), she's out and about - still VERY cautious, and often runs into the room that is her "safe zone" when she's had too much contact for comfort. This morning, she was drinking out of his water bowl while he was eating from his food bowl.
It will take time, but if you provide her some "safe" space and allow her the time to become comfortable with his presence, she will come around.
Good Luck!

She probably just needs some more time to get used to being in the house. Yea she may have been there before, but a cat's memory doesn't go all the way back to birth. I know when my husband and I take our cat back to our parents house, he always has a little while where he is growling and hissing because to him it's like a new place, even though he's been there before. I hope this helps you out.

Try to introduce them slowly - have them in the same room with the dog on a short leash (so she won't feel threatened), let her see the other cat interacting with the dog. Also make sure she has a retreat the dog can't get to, so she feels she can get away if needed - e.g. a room closed off with a baby gate or an area high on a shelf.
She'll likely get used to him eventually. Good luck! :)

There is a product on the market called Feliway, I would get one of the plyg-in diffiusers and put it in the room she is normally in when she gets scared. It is a pheremone that mother cats produce when they have kittens, and the use it to relax and comfort the kittens. So it should help her chill out and realise that your GSD Isn't that bad, and she will get used to him over time.
Good luck.

It will take her quite a while to get used to him and to realise that he won't harm her. She'll get there in the end - just let her take things at her own pace.
