My girlfriend asked me if I had been intimate
with any other women since we started dating
and I said that I had.
She hit the roof and told me that we were over
unless I tell her who it was and all the details.
Why do women say 'be honest' then turn on
you when you do? I don't feel I should discuss
this with her. How can I get out of it and still have my girlfriend?

You only have yourself to blame. Don't you know that truth hurts? Let your girlriend knows that the action is now history and you would like to work on the current relationship.

If you know that she would get mad at you for doing that don't do it, it will just make things worse, that's her way of finding out if you are cheatind on her........."Be Honest" she thought you were, but then you told her that, your lost.
Since you say that it will be hard to have the relationship the way it was before, don't get into many details, it will only cause more problem. Just talk to her, let her know it was a mis take...... and it mean nothing.......

Number 1, that's plain and simple cheating. You know that unless you're just running in circles with your head buried in the sand! You admitted to cheating on your girlfriend, so, how do you expect her to respond? Was she supposed to embrace you for your honesty? She is hurt badly by your infidelity and you'll be lucky if she comes back to you at all. I personally wouldn't give you the time of day. Relationships are based on commitment and honesty and communication. You have totally destroyed her beliefs in what a relationship is supposed to be. And it's obvious that you don't even know yourself!

Close your eyes and LIE. Make up a story of a girl you met that she will never meet. She gave you head and thats all that happen. Head is cheating. Take that road and lie. Dont ever break the code we got and tell the truth.she will forgive you after the make-up sex but never do that again.tell her it happen at a bar/club outside in a car and you never saw her again. sorry it will never hppen again speach and apologive to us too. guys like you make it hard for all us.

It is a morbid curiosity, you think you want to know but actually you don't.
I guess at least you were honest, but dude, probably you would be pretty hurt if she had done stuff with other guys

She shouldn't punish you for being honest. You had a life before you met her, she needs to get over it. No one wants to know extensive details about a partners sexual history. Maybe you need to find someone more mature who will just be happy your committed to them now.
