Every time your dog goes to jump up on you, same with the puppy, bend your knee and lift your leg. It will not only stop them, but every time you do it, it will discourage the dog from doing it. Each time also in a strong, firm voice say "Nooooo". It worked for my dog. Good luck.

Never yell at your dog. It only confuses them and scares them. When you say a command to a dog it has to be in a lower tone, strong, firm voice. And be consistent.

all the answerer's saying their way is not working .

If you are sincere and really want to help your dog you must become the "leader dog" when he displeases you you forcefully say and act to change his behavior. when this dog jumps up before his paws touch you step forwards into him and Kick him hard enough to knock him off balance with your knee. and say no in a loud and angry manner. The pansy way some are telling doesn't work and you will never be happy with the dog s behavior around you or guests. THAT certainly is not fair to YOUR DOG! He wants to please and show his affection and you MUST teach him what is acceptable and what is not. YOU do that by being IN CHARGE ALL THE TIME and not wishy washy.

dogs and puppies jump on you to get attention the best things to do is just turn your back they slide off. Any other thing you do draws attention to the dogs whether it is negative or positive and reinforces the behavior

My dog does the same thing, I have tried to put my knee up to knock her down, that failed, I have tried putting a pocker chocker collar on her and pulling it when she does, that failed, I have tried yelling at her to get down really loud to scare her, that also failed. She still jumps on me, I would recommend bringing your puppy to dog school, and same with the other dog if it isn't too old. Good luck!

When their front paws are up on you, stretch a foot out and step on one of their back paws. After a few times, they will figure out that they get discomfort when they jump up.

Kick the dog in the ***. That's the best choice you can do. My dog stopped after about the 5th kick.
