...I went straight home and threw some junk out of my garage and did a quick hoover around the house but now she is saying that's not enough and that I have proved I just don't care about her. Should I get a skip? Do you think it's because I have put the junk in my front garden?

Ah, yes - I can see your problem. Perhaps a personal makeover would do the trip? Maybe a shower, a shave, a haircut? Perhaps a new pair of shoes? The front garden is an excellent place for your junk - do you live next door to me by any chance??

by 'sorting yourself out' she means you not sort your personal belongings out. this means things like getting a good job, saving some moeny every week, being responsible for your actions, respecting her more, being honest wit her and things like that. sounds like she wants things to work out between you so shes giving you the option of 'sorting yourself out' or leaving it (leaving the relationship because your too stubborn to change).. just talk with her an ask her about it, ask her what she means exactly and tell her you will try your best to be th eguy she wants. if shes asking for too much change, ditch her, she obvioulsy doestn like you for YOU... good luck.

I don't think she means the junk in your house, when someone tells you to sort yourself out it normally means you not the things in your house.

I'm pretty sure she mean something ELSE other than your junk. Why don't you talk to her and ask her what ""sort yourself out"" is. That might save you time....

no you muppet, she means sort yourself out, as in the person you are, not because you collect alot of junk thats just a flaw, even though its a start doing a clear out, do something romantic for her and tell her how special she is for you
