Of the 56.9 million visits to ski resorts each year, how many of those visitors are skiing in a group? Any data (with sources) about group statistics at ski resorts would be great!

It's not very fun or safe to ski by yourself
almost all people ski in groups or with people they know

I would say almost all. It's really much better to ski with a friend because it makes the chair ride much more fun and its safer. Although if you were in some horrible accident, the skiiers on the slope would surely be nice enough to give you a hand

Well I've been 9 times. First time with a school group, next 7 times with my partner, and last time with a group of 8 of us.
