I used to be that way too, but now I rarely get sick and when I do actually get sick it is usually fairly mild.
Several years ago I started taking a multivitamin, 60mg CoQ10, Flax oil gel capsules, 1g odorless garlic, 400IU Vitamin E, Green Tea capsules, Cal-Mag (calcium and magnesium...1000mg calcium/500mg magnesium), 1000mg cranberry, 3000 mg Vitamin C every day. I also drink at least one cup of hot green tea sweetened with honey every single day.
If I think I'm about to come down with something I start taking one 400mg Echinacea capsule three times a day with water, increase the Vitamin C to 8000mg each day.
I get my vitamins from http://www.swansonvitamins.com Their vitamins are of excellent quality and the prices are far less than what you would pay locally at a drug store or places like GNC.
If you're on a really tight budget, drink the hot green tea (I use Lipton brand). Outside the USA people use it for medicine. One of my dad's friends from his work was from Chile. This friend had never been sick until he came to the USA and couldn't find the green tea until my dad told him where to get it. My dad got his info about the green tea originally from Dr. Cherry. He's a hollistic doctor & researcher who had a show on TBN.

Daily-Immune. A Mushroom & Enzyme Based Immune Support Complex. Stay well every day. Supports Immune function. Contains MycoFusion, an activated Maitake and Shiitake Complex. By Country Life.

There are a number of factors which can affect your immune system such as:
Consumption of highly processed and refined foods.
Environmental toxins.
Lifestyle choices.
The use of prescription and over-the-counter medications.
High intake of bad fats such as trans fats.
Vitamin and mineral deficiencies.
Also Vitamin C. Take a natural brand such as Ester-C by Natrol or Country Life, stay away from supermarket brands.

The Daily Immune is a preventive to be taken daily, while there is also Defense Plus which is to be taken at first signs of imbalance or depressed resistance for 15 days.

Of course, these things will not keep you healthy, that will only be done with a good diet and exercise. But added to a healthy life style these three things-Daily Immune(Country LIfe), Defense Plus(NutriBiotic) and a Natural form of Vitamin C will provide you with very powerful weapons to protect your immune system with no side effects, as long as you take the right brands and dont fall for marketed gimicks. Also drink alot of water and fluids in general. And beware of milk products.

have a look at your diet, maybe you are not getting all the nutrients you need , check your stress levels too, stressed people often catch everything going around, so you might need to relax more, failing that go to a doctor, there are a multitude of ailments which can lower your immunity, from iron deficiency to contracted diseases like ross river fever to chronic fatigue syndrome.
