Currently am living in a hosue with only electric heaters. Our bill arrived in yesterday!
I have been told that instead of turning them off when everyone goes to work and turning back on whoever gets in first to heat it for for the evening, to leave them on a low temperature all day long adn then just turning up a bit higher when we get in is actually the cheaper way?
Anyone know which is true?

I do his and it works quite well. Provided your house has decent insulation!
Dont turn it down too low though as it doesnt work then. I found that if I keep the house between 18 and 20 C then it never feels cold and the heating is more efficient.
It certainly wont cost you more so give it a go for the next quarter and see how well it works for you.
