I don't think that can be done. it happened to me a few years ago and it was hell having to live with someone I didn't want to talk to or have anything to do with for a month. unless you plan on spending a lot of time out of the house after you break up with them, that would be the only option I can think of. just make yourself scarce and hope they don't throw all your clothes and stuff in the river when you're out.

ugh. It doesn't work very well. Didn't you see the breakup? I know personally. I had to live with my husband for 4 months after we split due to house issues. It was so bad. It's best if one person moves out.

Just did that last year. I stayed upstairs, the other person stayed down. I only talked if necessary. It's not that hard if the other person isn't either violent (call 911) or a whiner (ignore). You'll get through it.

Try to be civil with one another. Do not start arguements and if the other person tries to start one with you, simply leave for a few hours.

That's a tough situation! My son just went through that, and I felt so bad for him cause he was so uncomfortable. That woman was psycho, and he couldn't take her mistrust anymore. He came over to visit us a lot till she finally left.

I guess that by that time, the both of you know what is in the cards, and that you have excepted it. and that you know that the love and affection, is not their for the two of you, so you know that the only way that the two of you can be happy, is for you to go else where!

If you broke up with the person that means cohabitation is not possible. You can be friends but it will take some time....

No possible way I know off...sorry.
