Islam and JW are in fact a lot alike. I studied with Witnesses for about a year and I am currently studying Islam, and I see many similarities. I agreed with you until you said they hate people who do not have the same religion as them. NEITHER hate anyone and both are very tolerant of others. My Witness friends are still my friends despite the fact that I have married a Muslim man, and my husband is completely accepting of them as well. The other thing I do not agree with is blood consumption. I have read nothing about blood being forbidden in Islam, though I may be wrong. I am sure it does NOT approve of eating blood, but will accept blood transfusions.

On what basis to you have this opinion have you studied Islam? Have you studied Jehovah's Witnesses and their beliefs or the belief's of Islam, I cannot speak for Islam but I know for a Fact that the hate part of your assumption about us Witnesses is of this planed and could not be further from the truth And I will in Part confirm the man from utopia's comment Muslims have not come to your door lately have they? Muslims do not spend their time to try to help you turn to God's word, obviously the similarity you speak of is very vague indeed
and again I cannot speak for Muslims but I know that our speaking to people and spreading the good news of God's kingdom is certainly not based on hate but Love, and it is also not based on Religion, we speak to All people we do not just seek out other Witnesses to speak to.but we take Gods message to all people regardless of faith, race or religion!

Do we muslims have to deal with ignorant people like you on a daily basis

Islam teaches us to respect all people of different religious beliefs.
Islam also teaches peace & tolerance.

I love my religion & i have respect for all Jews , christians & other religious groups that have respect for my religion. I have known many christians & jews & they have all been respectable. Its really sad that a few people llike yourself enjoy insulting other peoples religion.

Leave the Muslims & Jeovah's witnesses to follow thier faith & you worry about whatever it is that you follow

Yes, there are some similarities. However, you list one of these as "hatress of people who do not have same religion as them." (sic) I assume you mean "hatred."

I do not know whether this is true of Islam or not, but I do know it is NOT true of us!

We are taught to have love love for everyone:

Our enemies. - Matthew 5:43, 44.
Our neighbors. - Mark 12:31.
Our God Jehovah. - Mark 12:30.
Our fellow believers. - John 13:34, 35; 15:12, 13.

One major difference is that we know that Jesus is Son of God. - Luke 1:32; John 1:49; John 20:30, 31.

Hokey religions always steal from each other. They do clash when it comes to pork chops and going door to door.

Good for them. Islam is like Christianity. The teachings are wonderful, holy, but the religious leaders aren't and lead many astray.

They refuse to check out anything that is not from their own publications. They dare not question their governing body or even what the elders tell them. They follow blindly and people who do point out where their governing body is wrong are called morons, liars, apostates, idiots etc. They are a dangerous organisation that prays on the vulnerable such as people with depressive illnesses and so on.

I don't think they do, I have a JW friend and she thinks all other religions including Islam are all fake. I thought Muslims celebrated birthdays.

We as Jehovah's witnesses live our lives by the bible and we use our bible trained conscious to make wise decisions in our lives we don't do things that will bring reproach upon Jehovah our heavenly father.(we always strive to have morals and love among ourselves). just to let you know we all know that Jesus Christ is the son of god john 3:16, Matt 3:16,17

Jehovah's Witnesses have no interest in studying the details of Islamist false religion. However, many Witnesses are very interested in exposing the lying slander of those who pretend that Jehovah's Witnesses hate those of other religions.

In fact, Jehovah's Witnesses preach a message of "good news", and leave all judging for Jehovah and Jesus to perform "on the last day".

(Acts 10:36,42) Declare to them the good news of peace through Jesus Christ: this One is Lord of all others. ...this is the One decreed by God to be judge of the living and the dead

(John 11:23-25) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” 24 Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life.

(John 12:48-49) The word that I [Jesus] have spoken is what will judge [a person] in the last day; 49 because I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment

(John 8:16) if I do judge, my judgment is truthful, because I am not alone, but the Father who sent me is with me

(Matthew 12:36) They will render an account concerning it on Judgment Day

(John 5:22,27-30) [The Father] has committed all the judging to the Son... 27 And he has given him authority to do judging, because Son of man he is. 28 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out... I judge; and the judgment that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.

(Acts 17:30-31) God has overlooked the times of such ignorance, yet now he is telling mankind that they should all everywhere repent. 31 Because he has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man [Jesus] whom he has appointed
