I was wondering what catholics and protestants think of the sex abuse problems.

I think a quick grope is Ok after about 6 months. But you have to train for 1 year, sit an exam, then you are ok to go all the way.

With the display of insensitivity such as yours, you demonstrate the capability to be someone who would abuse another.
It is absolutely inappropriate to make light of such things.
It is a sad and horrific thing when any child is abused, by anyone.
It is an even more sad when others like yourself want to make fun of it.
Are you incapable of compassion?
Not only for those who have suffered abuse, but by those in the same profession who would never even think of such a thing, and who are out there doing their best to make the world a better place.
You should be ashamed.

That's crude. Did you ever think someone who has been abused by a priest could read this and bring up old memories for them? What about all the priests who are serving God and would never dream of doing such a thing, is it fair to generalize them with pedophiles?

How dare you trivialize something as serious as this? For those who were abused, there is nothing funny about it.
And for those who have lived and continue to live dedicated lives of service to God and the people in the Church, there is nothing funny about it either. That there have been some who have behaved badly - including bishops who tried to cover it up - is something that has filled many with sorrow, and a desire to find ways to prevent such a thing from happening again.
To make fun of it in snide headlines like yours is terribly insulting and insensitive, and you should be ashamed.

What do I think of it? I think its disgusting and finally its exposed for what it really is for some. A ways to hide behind the cloak and have the power to do whatever you wish. For the handful that molest let us pray that there are alot that dont. And when will the catholic church finally come clean with alot of the priests are gay. When this comes to pass maybe alot will be changed in the church.
