Just because I am 14 and I don't feel ready nor do I want to have a boyfriend right now does that mean that I will never feel ready to have one when I am older and I will never get married? Because I really want to get married when I get older and have a family. I was also wondering if it is weird if I go through High School without a boyfriend but get my first boyfriend in college? Because I live in a small town and I am going to be with the same people I am now when I get into High School. So if nobody likes me now nobody ever will....right? Do you think I should beleive my friends who say they had a boyfriend in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade? Even when they're not allowed to date yet?

I see all the girls at school that go out with one guy after the other but I thought that was wrong...isn't it?

no it's not weird your too young to be worrying about that. i've never had a boyfriend and don't want one yet but i've still got fella's, i love the single life far too much fun, want to marry and do all that but not for another 10 years so not going to worry about that yet and neither should you. plus your friends are probably lying.

That sounds like a good plan when u wait for college but you never know that a guy might pop up out of no where and you might end up going out with him. But don't believe that your never going to go out with anybody when i waz not allow to date i did any but it waz very hard to keep it a secret from your parents, Some of your friends may have had a bf or a gf in those grades but you can't know until u seen him or her in person with there bf or there gf

I don't think there's a thing wrong with you! You probably have a more ambitious mind than your friends who concentrate on boyfriends instead of long term goals. It will happen when you are ready and you'll be the one who will date one or just a few decent guys instead of lots of meaningless flings! Your future boyfriend/s are lucky already!
