This is the most succint answer I could find.
"Because Buddhists are accepting of other religions, even within the same household, there are no religious laws that require that both individuals in a marriage should be Buddhist or that conversion to either's religious conviction is warranted or expected."

In short ...no. Buddhists are not required to marry only Buddhists.
The Buddhist's Path is the Middle Way, forced marriages are seen as an example of an extreme notion and is therefore against the Dharma. It would be better for mutual agreement to be reached prior to marriage for harmony.
I was Catholic before I married a Buddhist, I chose Buddhism later after careful personal contemplation and consideration for my family.
Peace from a Buddhist...

Nope, not at all. Bhuddist accepts marriage between two different religions although the family members might not be very happy about it.
Muslims on the other hand, the non-Muslim side has to become a Muslim after marrying a Muslim.

They can be married to people of other religions, though the family may rather that he or she married within their faith. But it's not forbidden, I don't imagine.

That is certainly not the case with Japanese Buddhism. Although Japanese "religious affiliation" is perhaps the most secular in the world!
