When i was studying i start to smoke for simply. now i can not leave the smoking. pls give some idea to forget smoking

i had a friend who smoked because she fell in with bad company and she desperately wanted to quit and a few friends and i helped her and she quit...
First...make a goal sheet write what you want to accomplish and get done by a certain time
Next... start limiting your smoking go down each day. because you will not be getting any nicotine you might get a headache. if this happens distract your self...watch a movie, take a nap, or clean you office
Then...start to hate the things you want to quit... go on-line and see what smoking can do to your body do whatever you can till you say, " God my inside looks nasty!"
Then...start getting active... go to the gym and now that you know that you hate cigarettes pretend that the box of cigars is a UGLY woman/man who is asking you out. beat the punching bag till you are really tired.
DO THIS LAST... go shopping for products...your skin and hair must be nasty......your starting a new life make sure you look new to!

There are only two ways to quit, cold turkey, and with a nicotine patch system. What gets to you is the nicotone in your brain. They make you think you need a smoke. Its so powerful that it becomes instinctive. To just stop, you need to keep yourself occupied. Play video games, study, work on a project. Stay away from activities that make you want to smoke like eating, sex, and especially drinking. If you can keep yourself occupied for about 7 or 8 days your over the hump. The first day or two will seem easy if your determined to quit, then the pangs get worse for a few days. You just have to have the will power to resist. The other alternative is buying the nicotine patches and using them to wean yourself off the dependency. It takes longer to quit this way.

It is not FORGETTING,my friend; iT IS QUITTING OF SMOKING YOU REQUIRE.
IF you have a strong will, definitely you can quit smoking.Almost all get habituated to this habit in the same way.But later they get addicted to it.

Read a good lot of articles that clearly explain the negative side of smoking.See the people who smoke a lot , and see how the person's family members feel about him.
The persons wife is forced to bear the smell of the smoking for the sin of just because she is married to him.
Why should you make so many around you unhappy?
SMOKING IS CONVERTING YOUR CASH INTO ASH IN AMAJESTIC WAY.
Think over your self.you will definitely understand the minus points and how it is affecting your health.

Think..think...think..then ..make a decision that you are quitting...repeat it ..repeat it.
mentally prepare yourself....then say on your birthday,or marriageday etc make a decision YOU ARE QUITTING SMOKING AND FROM EXT DAAY YOU ARE NOT TOUCHING A CIGARETTE.

I have two friends who smoked over a pack a day one smoked three packs a day the both started using chantix and one has not had a smoke since Oct of 2006 the one who smoked three packs a day started in Jan and has cut his smoking in half you can only get chantix thru a Dr but it is cheaper that the money you spend on the cigarettes

your best way to prevent smoking is to stop the practising of smoking. like for example :- If u want to sit quiet also u will be reminded by smoking so, don't see the cigarattes. u practise this for longer time.and u r mind telling to smoke it forcely u don't smoke then u will get the effect.for any side effects contact the professional doctor immediately.

Try some sports & gym or you can also chew some other things like mouthfreshner or chewing gum.
