my lips are causing problems to my social life. i find it hard to eat and even talk. my lips are often very dry, putting on lip protection helps. the thing is when i have a shower the dead skin falls off, and the new skin underneath never heals, this has gone on for two years. can anyone help ?

sorry, i have seen a doctor. they just suggested to keep them moist, stop licking my lips drink water etc

You may be having a reaction to your toothpaste, soap, etc. There are several lip treatments available over the counter, use them often during the day , and especially at night. Using a humidifier during the night in your bedroom may help also. Another thing you may want to try is vitamin E oil, from a bottle or capsule, on your lips. That assists with the healing process. If you don't see an improvement, see a dermatologist.

u should go to a dermatologist they should be able to give u medicine to heal them
