More then likely the dog Anal Sacs needs empty. The vet will do this for you. Your vet can also show you how to empty them, but I find I like the vet to do it because it is thick and foul smelling.
Sometimes the dog breaks them by scooting across the floor. If scooting continue for more than a few days after the sac is empty you may need to have it recheck.
You should get your dog to the vet about this An abscess can form and rupture out through the skin. This is a painful, messy and pretty smelly condition often mistaken for rectal bleeding. If an anal sac abscess forms, it must be properly treated by your veterinarian. Antibiotics will be needed.
The people telling you it may be worms is not right. That is an old saying from years ago.

Every time I have seen or experienced this whether in my kennel or an outside kennel it has been ANAL GLANDS. They MUST be expressed. It is possible for infections to occur other wise.
Chances are if she's had soft stools which often pups do her anal glands are filled.
Worms and intestinal parasites can also cause discomfort to the area and chances are any worm will be seen in her stool.
Run a stool check to your vet and have them express her anal glands.
Good Luck

found a few things;
Another, more likely possibility is a problem with the anal glands. They may just need to be expressed, or it could be an infection. Bring the dog to the vet. They can express the anal glands very easily. They will be able to tell if they're infected.

Pehaps, the dog has worms? Have you taken her to the vet? Did you check her stools to see anything moving about? If you have she needs to be taken to a vet. Even if nothing is moving in her stool, she still needs to be checked out, she's not comfortable, something is wrong.......

she might be having some internal parasites which causes itchiness at the anal region. or u checked the anal region and see if there is some inflammation out there or some putrid smell. if there is the presence of that, then ur dog might be having some problem with her anal gland.

Many small breeds ge swollen anal glands. Check with the vet for more info, but you can learn to squeeze them yourself to stop the behavior if that is the problem (please wear gloves).

It could be either worms or anal glands that need expressing. Let your vet have a look for a proper diagnosis.

It's because her anal glands are swollen and they probably itch. I would ask your vet about a cure for this.
