Does it run from your belly button down to your pubic hair? Are you pregnant or on the pill? Usually this is hormonal and happens in the last trimester of pregnancy. If you aren't and not taking the pill, then it could be other hormonal factors. Maybe you should ask your doctor about it.

The brown line is called Linea Nigra!! You get this line when you are pregnant!! It has to do with you hormones and it will go away after the baby was born!! Mine went away in 3-4 months with both of my kids!!!
