If you have a bunch of files you want to rename with a similar name, select them all. Right click on the top one and select "rename". Type in the name you want to use. The top most file will be renamed to that name. All the other files will be renamed to the same name, only with a 01,02,03....etc on the end of the name. So if you named the first "Trip to NYC", the others would be Trip to NYC (01), Trip to NYC (02), etc.

There is no way to rename a bunch of files at once with each getting a different name.
