I guess they think God could have prevented it.
He has his reasons for many things that we do not understand.
He is still real.

Because people see God as being the Highest Power (which he is) and they feel he controls everything. But what they don't understand is that he gives us the intelligence to make our own choices. Things happen for a reason. God is not to blame.

Because they fail to understand that God is not the cause of evil in this world. People make a big misconception whenever they say that any tragedy was God's Will. I don't buy that. Would you want to serve a God like that? The bible teaches us that God is Good. And that every good gift comes from above from the Father of Lights (James 1:17). God never promised us that we wouldn't have problems. What He did promise us is that He would be there to help us through them.

It's like He's the easiest person to latch out to and blame, because they don't want to see that it's their fault. When challenges come our way, God puts them there to build us up in faith and make us stronger, not weak; God never gives us more than what He knows we can handle, the catch is that we can't handle it without Him, but some people don't reach out and try to solve it on there own, because they feel that God giving them a problem puts Him at blame. They don't think of it as God trying to make us a better person.

First off, there's no such thing as a 'good person'. The Bible teaches that we're 'all as filthy rags to Him, and there's no such thing as a good person, no not one.'
What you mean, is nice people. Well, perhaps it's because folks forget that sin started with Adam and Eve, and spread like wildfire from there. People blame God because it's more conveniant than to blame Adam and Eve.

Some people need to blame someone. And if there really isnt anyone specific to blame, God comes into play. Its a way of dealing, I guess.

Because gods an easy target and we are taught conflicting ideas about god from an early age - he loves you unconditionally, but you will burn in hell if you don't believe in him. It sends a mixed message so the same is how people praise god when good things happen and curse him when bad things do.

It's a natural thing for some people to want to blame God for things. But we know that ALL things work together for good....to those of us who love the Lord......all things good or bad. (Romans 8:28)
They all work together for God's ultimate purpose.

Because they do not understand that most of the bad things that happen to us are because of things we have done, or things others have done to us.
In times like that people need to praise God and ask Him to find the solution to the problem that would be best for you.

When you don't read or understand the bible, and take someone Else's word for what it says; you can be wrong in judgment.
The bible clearly states and is recognized as the authority, that Satan was given charge over this world when Adam, the then currant owner: sinned.
Your blaming the wrong person!
