I would never ever ever bash a Jew.
God is very specific about Anti-semitism (watch out Iran).
I do worship the King of the Jews.
What Jews need to know;
If a Jewish person has not accepted Christ as thier Savior when the rapture happens.
You will be left behind.
If you accept Christ after Jesus and all the Christians leave the earth, you will SURVIVE the tribulation.
No matter how violent and ugly times get, God has promised that Jews who accept Christ during the Tribulation will survive.
This information could make a difference.
Remember: Fear not, for I am with thee.
Peace out.

Yes, true Christians should turn the other cheek when it comes down to offences.
I do find that some of us can be quite judgemental and forget to walk in a spirit of love.
But love is not the same thing as tolerance, especially of sin.
It is because we love others that we should be concerned for their salvation. THose who talk about hell fire and damnation are speaking the truth of what happens if you are not saved- but it is to warn others.
I just wish they would balance it out with love, in words and deed.
I don't understand the Jew bashing either.

As I am not a religious person I still feel the need to answer your question...The way I see it...we are all born with 4 cheeks...so I guess even Christians have a limit, just like me...nobody said anything about going in for seconds or thirds did they??!!

we are to turn our cheek to be struck again. But we are also to disspell false religions and evangelize the Truth, God's word. I see much more Muslim 'bashing' here rather than Jew 'bashing'. I personally think that comments on grammar is done but some because when a non-believer is trying to protest against God, we think that they sound stupid and their very bad grammar only proves our point, that if they aren't educated enough to spell correctly, then they aren't educated on God and what they are protesting.

keep in mind christianity doesn't magically remove the human element from people. everyone struggles with compassion versus "bible bashing". life has always been one against the other. jew vs. christian.....pepsi vs. coke.....eastcoast vs. westcoast..(no i'm not making light of the issue just a simplified example.) it's difficult for people to step out of what they know and attempt to understand another's world view. but to know a true christian is to meet someone who really tries hard to show Christ in their lives...and yes, they will fail at times...but don't we all?

That's not all I see. Frankly, I don't see quite as much "Jew bashing and comments on Grammer" as I see Christian-bashing.

Being a christian is very hard. we have to be understanding but uncompromising. we have to show love but also set boundaries. My definition of a True Christian is someone who's willing to sacrifice their judgemental mindframe and respecting other religions but at the same time providing an alternative, leaving them a choice of what to believe in.

some people may be saved, but they don't act like Christians because they want to look 'cool' and they follow the worldly example because they don't want to stand out and follow what's right for fear of looking like a dork in front of others. they don't seem to think about the 'wwjd' concept when they should. it's hypocritical of what they believe, but we all sin, and one day they'll have to answer for what they've done.

People who take one verse out of the Bible, show just how little understanding they have, when they try to sum everything that Christianity is, by citing that one verse. You have to put them all together and do them, not just one. This verse actually tells us to avoid strife, do not exact revenge, and to be meek. It has nothing to do with understanding, other than it relates to these three things.

So many people claim to be christians and follow the bible, but history proves that christians seem to rarely turn the other cheek. I guess they all fall into the category of "do as I want, not as the bible says." They say they are all about love and that god is love etc. but they'll bomb an abortion clinic on monday and then bomb a mosque on tuesday. It's VERY frightening to them for anyone to disagree with what they say. Tolerance in christianity is a bigger myth than god itself.
