I put them on my salisbury steak sandwiches, so technically it's a condiment, right?

FYI: This question is really just for giggles. If you put your mashed potatoes on your sandwiches, though, I expect royalties.

Beau, you'll be hearing from my lawyer. And who is this shephard, and what is the best way to intimidate him?

no its not considered a condimate, but all condimates were made by creative people such as yourself so it could be.

Mashed Potatoes are a side dish and always will be. But that sounds good I might have to try that.

No it's not a condiment. I've done it many years ago, so no royalties. In all it is similar to a hand held shepard's pie.

No, because it hasn't changed shape or form (from its natural state) to be added to your salisbury steak.

I guess it could be then . . . Ronald Regan thought ketchup was a vegetable, so the lines are pretty blurred. I put stuffing on my hot turkey sandwiches, it must be a condiment also.

Hun, the only things that are "Condiments", are what your using to eat your food with!!! The spoon's, the catsup, the salt & pepper, the napkins, the utensils... and the like... So "NO" mash potatoes, are not a "Condement", hun!! Sorry to "Pop" your bubble, but it was a "Cute" thought anyway!! Smile!!
