I would love to flavor the beef. Any ideas. I simply added a few bouillon cubes and some water so far. Maybe Moroccan or Asian? I would love some inspiration. If not I will simply let them slow cook all day and turn it into a beef stew or Shepard's pie.
Thanks a bunch and happy cooking!!!!

I would toss in some red wine and garlic. You did not say what spices you have to create Morrocon or Asian so I can't really answer that. Throw in some ginger, lime, coconut, peanut sauce or hoisin to go Thai if you can.

How about Ratatouille?
Stewing beef
spaghetti sauce (1 jar)
• 1 medium eggplant (peeled and coarsely chopped)
• 2 tomatoes (coarsely chopped)
• 2 small zucchini (sliced)
• 1 green pepper (cut into 1-inch pieces)
• 1 large onion (chopped)
• 3 garlic cloves (minced)
• 1-teaspoon dried basil leaves
• 1-teaspoon dried oregano leaves
Method:
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Pour into a 3-1/2 or 4-quart crock pot. Cover, cook on low setting for 8-10 hours or until chicken is tender and no longer pink. Serves 6 (1-3/4 cup).

You have a nice base. Add wine and garlic and a bit of onion if you have it. From there you can do so many things.

You could add a can of cream of mushroom soup and put in some sour cream when it is done. You will have Beef Stroganoff. Add a bit of parsely or dill if you have it and serve over rice or egg noodles.

I use packaged brown gravey for my stew. It mixes with the beef juices and makes an excellent sauce.
