I think you mean septic!!.... the patient is infected in the blood. Aseptic means sterile.

they probably meant SEPTIC. WHICH MEANS THAT THEY HAVE A BLOOD BORNE PATHOGEN,INFECTION.MORE THAN LIKELY HOSPITAL ACQUIRED
