Rub a thermometer really fast on your bed sheets the frictions heats it up quickly but practice when know one is around that way you know how long to do it to give you the perfect temperature if mom watches get a glass hot water somewhere near you and put just a little in mouth before temp time it will stay warm for some time but yet again practice to see how it works out first. I was a major sick player long ago.

i used to serve in the idf and the only way o get a day off is to be sick, so there are a lot of ways to fake a fever. or to give urself a temporary one.
scrape chalk and put it in ur eyes. i never tried any of these btw, so i can't say if they actually work.
ciggarett ashes in a cup of water are supposed to cause a fever. and the most popular choice;
take a coke can and fill it with scolding hot tea. drink that up, and you'll have atemporary fever.

When I was in grade school, I just wanted to go home one day. So I told my teacher I didn't feel well, and on the way to the nurses office, I stopped by the bathroom and did 2 things. I ran the water til it was hot and 'heated up' my forehead (be sure to dry it off well) and then held that water in my mouth as long as I could. When she takes your temp it will be high. If she's the type of nurse who leaves the room, you can run it under the tap when it gets warm. Just be sure it doesn't get too hot or they'll send you to the hospital!

Honesty is the best policy, talk to your parents and tell them why you don't want to go swimming! Good luck
