I bought whole flax seeds and read that it is better to consume them grounded. It's tedious to keep grinding 1-2 tablespoons of flaxseeds every day, hence it makes more sense to grind them all and store them in a jar. But will this cause any deterioration or reduction in the amount of nutrition of the flaxseeds?

They will go rancid quicker if you ground them up and then stored them. 2 days is the most they should be ground and stored. But they have handle held grinders that you could use. It is like the size of a salt shaker. You load it up with the flax seeds and store in fridge. when you are ready just give a few twists onto your food, then put grinder back in the fridge. small enough to keep in your purse or book bag, or lunch bag for work.

flax seed should be stored in the fridge in an air lock foil bag, especially if ground. I guess a zip lock bag would work, but keep it inside a lunch bag to protect from light, like milk this can take nutrients away. Grinding may cause it to go bad quicker, but can be stored for a while. Smell to see if it is bad. It will start to have a fowl odor instead of a walnut smell. It does not take any nutrients out that I know of to store this way.
Make sure you don't over does, don't take while pregnant and don't take if you have a bleeding disorder or internal bleeding of any kind.

They will oxidise unless you store them in ziplock bags with minimal air, preferably frozen.
