He nestles down beside me,
Engine running,
All softly generous warmth
And love's vibrations.
Our eyes half-closed, we speak
Each other's language,
Share with each other
Peaceful, trusting moments.
And I am his familiar,
He is mine,
My touch and murmured nonsense
Soon rewarded
By his whiskered ministry
And the gentle abrasion
Of a feline kiss.

My cat is a climber and so nosy so there are a lot of times he has leaned too far over the edge of something and fallen and looked really annoyed about it.
When he is in a bad mood he will lie along the arm of the sofa and start huffing and puffing if you say his name he will look the other way. he did this a lot when i first started seeing my boyfriend - you know what boys are like about their territory and property (especially boy cats).
He also used to do a funny thing with his water bowl when he was a kitten - he used to put his paw in it and drag it to make sure there was water in it. Then he would dig his claws into the floor and take a drink as if to stop himself falling into this big inch full bowl of water. Now that he goes outside he doesnt do it as much because he prefers drinking out of puddles etc (he's had his jags)

My little one, Joon, stampedes throughout the apartment and then leaps up the walls. My older cat, Jack, is very skinny and light when he jumps up. Joon, on the other hand, thuds when she jumps up onto things. Especially at night when we go to bed. Jack will be all nestled up next to me and then Joon will come charging into the room and jump up onto the bed with a thud.
Every morning Joon sits outside the bathroom door while I'm taking a shower and meows the whole time. I can hear her with the water running! As soon as I'm out of the shower I let her in the bathroom. Then she rubs around and around my feet and then hops onto the counter. She'll stand up and put her front paws on my shoulder and lift her back legs up, so I'll hold her. Then she'll "fluff" my shoulders and lick my wet hair. She's mental! I let her do it for about a minute or so and then she's back on the floor.
Why is it that cats have to be with you when a door's closed but not when it's open? My little one will shove her paws under the door and cry at the door. My older cat knows how to open the door if it's not fully closed. He just head-butts it! And if you happen to be sitting down, he'll jump up on your lap and keep you company while you're there.

I have 3 Gizmo, Splodge and Duck. Gizmo brings in things like *** packs, pringles tubes and Sweet wrappers then wakes us up at 4am to make sure we know he has. Splodge goes through the new cat proof bin and Duck gets attached by the other two and kwakes us up with howeling for help. Plus duck has backward tail and is afraid of all. May not be funny but its strange

Awww, how adorable. I love watching cats in silly moods. My candyfloss climbs up the window nets and then launches herself across the room continuously as if shes trying to see how far she can get. Oh, and she jumps on my dogs back and runs around on him like shes riding a horse! The dog seems to enjoy it though - which is slightly strange!

If we go in a room and lock the cat out he'll start charging the door like a bull making the most infernal noise. At the time it's annoying and we always let him in but in retrospect it's pretty funny.
Also if we stand near him while he's eating he'll growls like a dog. That's pretty hilarious.

my cat does exactly the same thing but she slips as we have wooden flooring and floor tiles so she ends up banging into the wall
She also opens doors with her paws when they have been left slighty ajar.
She likes to lick people and loves licking hair toes and fingers.
she likes to get in the drawers under the beds to sleep and can open these with her paws aswell.

My cat runs up the curtains and clings onto the net curtain and usually ends up getting her claws stuck and hangs there for a while.
