It really depends on the area. I live in the South. Tennessee to be exact. I love it here We have beautiful mountains and lakes, and wonderful people with that good ole Southern Hospitalty. When driving into town,(the ones that have been here forever) most everyone in the cars you pass will wave at you. The ones that don't are usually immigrants. We don't have flowers year around like Florida, but we usually have short winter season. Rarely have any snow, so we have to go north to Gatlinburg TN so go skiing. That is about 120 miles away. Our native state bird is the mocking bird who will sing his heart out every moring on my deck. We have a very low crime rate here too in Cleveland TN.

US is suppose to be second class to UK for the reason that people from UK migrated to USA long time ago. AT least see a movie done in US. that is short cut to travel. US is mixed race: black, Hispanic, some asian. A chat informed they grew tomatoes in their backyard.

wow..where do I start? We have gardens just like you, have TV, computers, socials, clubs, Trains(tube), busses(metro) Postal service, etc..
only thing different really, is the grammar and maybe the food(tho, I was surprised at how many american resturants are over there) there's even a Ford factory near London...amazing how most of the world is "Americanized"
so, I guess, the U.S. is just like you..; )
