If Jesus promises peace, then why is there little of it in this crazy world? Or is there peace and we just don't understand what He was talking about when He said, "My peace I give to you."

It's all George Bush's fault. The co2 air pollution with particals in it, is causing us not to see that peace is coming up from Canada

The following Scriptures will help you find peace in this uncertain world: Phil 4:6-8 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy – meditate on these things.
When you apply these Scriptures in your life peace will come to your heart.

There is actually a very simple means of attaining peace|
That is to aim for the *good* and the *true,* act with integrity *always,* no matter what the cost| Never make the personally pleasing your direct aim|
For from objective good sought as a goal, come peace, joy, and happiness (although there is a latency time involved in this as one has to do the good for a while, while you are high and dry as you watch those who aim for the pleasing get all the rewards - but this is relatively temporary as the expedient soon exhaust themselves, and start to go into a decline from which they never return, while you start to enter into a reward that never ends, but just keeps getting better and better| All good things come to those who wait| For those who grab immediately, that is all they are going to get)|

Have peace with yourself first of all.
Invite Jesus Christ in your life. And follow and obey Him.
Share the source of your peace to the world. Be a witness of Jesus love and peace.
The world rejects Jesus Christ and disobedient to Him. Only Jesus Christ can give peace to the world.
