Do you think He would like it if I said His mother is lower than the ground under Moses' feet? According to the Bible, the ground was holy (Exodus 3:5; Acts 7:33), but according to some Protestants, Mary -- she who found favor with God, she who is blessed amongst women, she who is the mother of our Lord -- is NOT.

There's a difference between being holy and being worshipped, which is what many do. Only one should be worshipped and that is Almighty God.

Meg I don't think you are lower than the ground that Moses walked on but that doesn't make you holy either. The point to my question was it seems some Catholics, if not you, seem to put Mary on the same plane as Jesus which to me is wrong.

Speaking on spiritual way, Mary is the mother of Jesus when he became man as he was sent by God for our sins When his spirit after resurrection within 3 days on the dead, he arises to heaven and set at the right hand of God who sent him. Spiritually Jesus has no mother but have a father who is God the father who is in heaven with Jesus.You need to read the bible for your own self.

Alot of insignificant people found favour with God. Its usually because they were regarded as the worse possible choice, but yet in God's power he made them great. Catholic Godess worship and prayig to idols of Mary is going a little to far, for someone who really not nothing going for her until God choose her.

Jesus mother was a believer that God could trust .She was a human being just like you and I . And just like All humans we are all sinners destined to suffer in hell if we don't turn away from our worldly was and accept , trust and believe in him as our Savior.
He will love you forever then.

Jesus loves Mary just as much as He loves you and I. The point is, that Jesus is God and Mary was human just like you and I. She should NOT be worshipped. Jesus should be.
