Best way to relieve and getting rid of tension is to detach yourself from the world. I mean shut off your mind, switch off your mobile. Lock yourself up in a room and take deep breaths and practice yoga. If possible, do meditation and read light books. You will feel rejuvinated.

Find something you enjoy doing. Whether its spending time alone just staring at the wall, exercising, watching tv, playing a game on the computer, etc

The two things thats helped me is jogging and playing pc games. I have ADHD and take an anti depressant. I've had it for years. Gaming works when I've had a long/stressful day at work to help relax and laugh alittle even though my score might be crap.
Jogging helps if I am pretty angry at someone/something which gives me time to evaluate and think, "Why am I mad about this?"

Thats worked for me but everyone is different on the styles they use.

Run yourself a nice hot bath and have a good relaxing soak. Shut yourself away in the bathroom with misic and candles if you can.
Try deep breathing. Long breathes in through your nose, and long breathes out through your mouth. Do this slowly.
Try clenching your fists, then relaxing them. Clench all your muscles in turn starting with your toes and feet, then relax them. Try this several times, it should work, but it might take practise. Swivel you neck round, or turn your head to the right and left as far as it will go, then up and down, then round.
Hope this helps.

Do pranayam for atleast an hour in the morning or evening every day. Other wise one should do meditation for atleast half an hour in order to transfer his tension to his spiritual teacher.

1. Do regular pranayama.
2. Drink Noni herbal fruit juice twice a day. A very good stress buster.
