Actions speak louder than words - Let's say you boast about giving charity and there is someone who actually does give charity. Which one of you is better??
The pen is mighter than the sword - You can't cut off your citizen's neck if they're not following traffic rules, instead you can pass a law to charge them a penalty for doing so

the ACTION to take time and support your reason.
it is an action. IT is passive. but still an action.
YOU ARE WHAT YOU DO....but the rest is just talk.
and writing is an action. and what you right......is a paper trail. more mature that yelling and pouting.
angry poem? cool maybe make you famous
BUT a LOUD scream or yell or curse? it's just a child insider breaking through. immature.
writers = change the world...enlighten and aware and create revolutionary thoughts. YOU CAN talk or do something. but writing it??? it is passive YET you can when published or UP ON the net can be SO POWERFUL in large numbers.
