everytime i try to open a DAT file with wordpad, microsoft word, or any other file reader, it says that unexpected file, code or something like that was detected. i even downloaded that DAT file reader from the link provided by the first person who answered this question, and even that said that it was an unexpected code...what can i do now?

fairly, you are able to not open a DAT document with application and consider it with any fulfillment because it fairly is in basic terms gobblegook. DAT information are equipment information oftentimes and could on no account be tampered with or you will corrupt the appropriate application or equipment. DAT information have been used to repeat video clips onto CD's (regularly emanating from our a techniques eastern acquaintances) a while in the past until now DVD's got here on the scene yet except you have the main appropriate application, forget it because it fairly is not what you think of. info: use seek *.dat and you will discover lots of them regularly residing in equipment sub-directories. do not touch them!!! If hubby have been cheating, all he want do is come across typical e mail with encryption so bypass look someplace else!!!

go to anritsu.com and download Handheld Software Tools. It's for opening Linesweeps in DAT format if that's what you're trying to do.
