Toothpaste is an old wives tale. It does not work.
Arnica helps speed up the bruising process, so this will speed it up, but of course it won't work in an hour! You can get this from health/wellbeing shops, and Boots might stock it.
I think drinking loads of water helps too, but I am not sure about this. Perhaps because water helps your body run more efficiently anyway, maybe it is the improving circulation that helps the bruising go faster? Hey, don't quote me on this one, I am probably making it up!
Putting a load of make up on it is pobably the answer for now! Have you got Touche eclat (sorry about spelling - its French!) from Yves Saint Laurent?

I remember this really old song from a guy named milk called hicky on my neck, god that was a funny song. He talked about using ice and a comb but it got bigger and redder, god that was a funny song. Unfortunately he never did get rid of his hickey and chances are you won't either.
It's time to break out the make-up. Some concealor under base and powder should hide it for the most part.

not much you can do apart from put some arnica cream on the actual bruised area - this will help the body speed up the repair system of releasing the stuck blood cells and taking it back into the body but should take at least a day or two for it to begin to dispel.

You know as well as the rest of us do that it goes away when it goes away, no matter how hard you try. Either you have to stop jumping into beds where you have no business being in the first place. Ooor - if you are in a relationship that means something to you both - I fail to see the problem. Obviously it`s just a proof of you being alive and kicking. You go!! Greetings from Norway

Unfortunatly i don't think you can. You can try an conceal them by using either items of clothing or make up, depending where abouts they are of course. I suggest for the future, if your partner wants to give you one and you agree, then do it where it can't be seen.

You can't get rid of it quickly. Its a bruise. It has to go away all on its own. Slap some makeup on it and hope nobody notices.

It's like a bruise, so you know how long it will take for it to completely fade. Ice is the only thing that I know that can help a bruise, so you can try that.

I'd be more worried that I randomly woke up with a lovebite! You should lock your doors at night then you won't have that prob.
Kidding aside, I dunno why it springs to mind but toothpaste maybe?
