Go to a flooring store you will receive much better value for money. You will be able to touch and examine your flooring surface to evaluate quality. There is also no possible way to photograph true color. You will receive a color completely different than you see on your computer monitor. Include shipping to your individual location and you'll wind up paying a whole lot more for your floor than you would from a retail flooring store. If you have any trouble with your new floor you have no where to go to return the flooring if there is a problem. With an on line store you have to pay to ship the floor back to them. Then they may or may not reimburse you your costs.

Staff's advice to your at your local flooring stores will be invaluable if you need to find a durable floor on a small budget. People in the flooring industry are very nice and actually care about their customers. They want local repeat business not just a quick sale. I know the people personally who run online flooring stores. I wouldn't recommend them. I know how they do business and I don't like it. They offend me and my ethics. Visit 3 places. Spend no more than an hour at each one. The stores are big so you will need the time. Time will go by quickly. Bring room sizes (draw a diagram) with you along with any samples of colors you are working with. Allow your sales person to help you with prices. Tell them your budget and give them the diagram. Tell them about all job site conditions so they can help you. They will often help do it your selfers, with step by step installation procedures. If you ask nicely and they are not too busy with other customers. After your visit to the 3 stores choose one store with the product you need in stock for the best price and style. Go with money in hand and ask for the best price or a sale price.

Good luck with your flooring project.
