I heard late last year that from this year onwards people in ireland would be able to get married outside of a church , chaple or registary office. was just wonderin if anyone knew anymore about this, has it come into force yet and could anyone recommend anywhere in Donegal taht would be nice to hold a wedding ceremony. Any has anyone got any recommendations on where in donegal to have a wedding reception?

There are certain places that have a licence for a registrar and mean that you can get married in a different venue. I would check out some bride magazines and see if they have any details.

I wen tot one once, we all just got steaming drunk, but it was great, I really had a fab time they are great people. It was in a church in Cork
