Used to have a recipe for a rich chocolate dessert that required no cooking. Mostly everything chopped in food processor, mixed, then put into loaf tin and refridgerated to set. I remember digestive biscuits, walnuts, glace cherries and chocolate, of course. Does anybody have a similar recipe, please?

I got this recipe from an old neighbor...hope it is what you were looking for :)

Ingredients:
4 oz margarine
2 oz maple syrup
6 oz chocolate [I like to use ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate chips]
2 oz digestive biscuits
1 oz whole walnuts
1 oz chopped walnuts
2 oz sultanas
1 oz glace cherries

1. Grease a 8” x 3” loaf tin
2. Turn stove on LOW: In a saucepan, melt margarine & maple syrup together.
3. Melt chocolate in microwave or on the stove.
4. Mix the melted chocolate thoroughly with the the marg & syrup.
5. Break digestive biscuits into large chunks [they will be become smaller chunks after chopped in food processor].
6. Add the biscuits to the melted mixture.
7. Mix in whole walnuts, sultanas and cherries.
7. Fill tin and decorate with the rest of the walnuts.
8. Set in fridge for about 4-5 hours.

Enjoy :)
