Usually they are cremated. However, if you ask the branch where your dog died they may be able to give you more information. There are new laws now in the UK which may make it difficult to bury your dog at home now.

Well alot of times they are put into an incenerator and disposed of, but also believe it or not some places send them to landfills and some also send them to rendering plants to be processed into dog food.

They cremate them...because its the most hygenic way of doing it!!!

They cremate them. My friend had his cat cremated and it is buried in our back yard.
