STOP eating to much, and do some exercise
it all depends on how much weight you want to lose, and how healthy/unfit you are.
It will take time to lose and keep off.

To lose weight the key idea is to eat fewer calories than you burn in a day. If you take in more calories than you burn then you will put weight on.
Eating less fatty foods will mean that you take in less calories.
Doing more exercise will mean that you burn more calories.
The results will be a weight loss.
When it comes to eating less everyone is different. Some can go for intensive diets while others might only cut down on snacks and fatty foods especially between meals.
Exercise is also a very personal thing that some people are better at than others. Walking more, taking the stairs rather than the lift etc will all help you burn more calories. If you think that it would help then you could join a gym and get a proper fitness program.
Most people also find it easier to do these things with someone or in a group. There is likely to be a number of groups in your area that can help.
everyone has the ability to lose weight and become fit. It just takes time and effort. The benefits are worth it in the end.
Good luck

Hi I have the same problem. I started 3 weeks ago on a high protein diet as carbs were my downfall. I have now lost 9lb have stopped craving and bingeing and feel so much better. Although have a long long way to go I feel this is the way forward. 2 years ago I lost 7st on Lighter Life and almost all went back on. When I think I did not eat anything other than liquid for 6 months became very slim and now back again a size 24. Try to get some exercise and keep busy. Allow yourself one slice of toast a day and keep to protein for the rest of the time. Have a piece of fruit everyday as well and lots of salad and vegetables. Eat as much protein as you like and I assure you it will keep you full and not hungry. Good luck!

Good idea:
Look at your lifestyle, not just what you eat. When do you eat? Do you eat because you are bored? Stressed out? A lot of times, we use eating as an emotional experience, not just a necessity. Can you find another activity to substitute? Are you ready to confront the stress and depression that makes you eat?
Otherwise, don't focus on the number on the scale. Focus on changing your unhealthy habits into healthy ones. Count your calories to make sure you are not overeating. Drink water. Get consistant moderate exercise. Above all, focus on the HABITS - do them one at a time if you have to. This is about a lifelong change, not a quick fix.
Good luck!

Go to weight watchers. They are the best place for dieting successfully I think. It is expensive though, so you could go once and just get the book. That book is great. You can still eat loads of foods that you love, it's a nice healthy way of losing the weight. I lost 14lbs in the end which is what I wanted. Exercise bikes are also great, if you can't be bothered or haven't got the time to go to a gym. You can still watch TV on them too! lol. I also bought a dance exercise DVD, they are more fun than normal aerobic DVDs. You can learn whole dance routines and I love it. Drinking alot of water helps reduce bloating and maybe you could get a dog and take a 30 minute walk everyday.

I suggest that you try body cleansing. I tried it and really got lean quickly. I lost 15 pounds in 9 days and also 3 inches off my waist. I do body sculpting so getting leaner was my goal. My sister did this program too and she lost a lot of weight quickly. I did not know too much about cleansing but there are a lot of TV commercials about this stuff. This is a body cleanse and not just a colon cleanse, I wanted my body to get lean quickly and this did the trick!
