I've tried EVERYTHING converters and that and NOTHING is working i can't put them on my mp3 player or anything :(

ok so rang up tesco helpline and the bloke said you have to play each song for at least 30 seconds on the windows media player to aquire the license then you can convert them so that's what was wrong.

If you use Itunes the application will automatically convert all the songs in MP3 format for you to store on your system.
Free and simple.

They are probably WMA files for security reasons. Stops you from freely distributing them around the place.

try audacity from www.audacity.com or try steinberg wavelab, which you can find on limewire
