your three year old dog is going to have to put up with your pup biting, barking ,jumping about and taking all the attention away from her , if you rub your pup with your dogs bedding it will put her scent on the pup and include your three year old dog in any attention. she will put it in its place and may seem rough with it a few times do not stop her it is like us correcting a child,if you think things are getting out of hand call your three year old dog away and tell her to leave it wile giving her attention this will teach her not to hurt the pup if they are ever left alone,

Definitely a good idea. Let them sniff, walk them around and let them play. When they are tired, walk them both home and let the ***** go in before the pup.
They'll settle down soon enough but a 6 month old rottie is full of attitude and your 3 yr old will need to put him in his place a few times!

when you say dog do you mean male? a ***** and a dog will usually get along, and the ***** might even go all maternal.
But park sounds good, let the ***** accept him on neutral turf...

the blanks are the word for female dog, which yahoo has taken upon it self to censer...

it would help with the prtective factor. your older dog will most likely resent a new dog.if your dog doesn't usually seem protective then it probably isn't necessary just make sure you're around and they aren't out alone for awhile.
